7 years of Holbox Guide

A day like today, but in 2014 Holbox Guide came to light, the first app devoted to Holbox Island available for both iOS and Android. I still remember the feeling of that rainy day. A few days earlier, the local landowner’s protests had overrun the mayor’s office. The Islands taxi drivers almost lynched us, believing that we would take their jobs away.

Yikes! so many adventures …

It took a lot of effort and sacrifice during these rough seven years, but we managed to grow our little pet project so much that I can hardly believe it.

Two magazines: Holbox Guide Magazine, became iHolbox pocketbook;
(currently available on its digital version only ).
The Map, Holbox Guide Map is now available in a much more compact special edition with discount coupons.
HolboxTV is a canned TV show featured aboard the Holbox ferry and the Jumbo size billboards in Chiquilá.

Today on our seventh anniversary, I proudly introduce to you the new Holbox Guide Website. Travelers can now prebuild their trip, buy tours, transportation, ferry tickets, and even rent golf carts before arriving on the island.

It took us almost two years to roll out our new website and app. They were just as we imagined them.

Today I write with pride and affirm that Holbox Guide is the most complete and friendly guide to Holbox Island.
